Bearsden Ben Races 2012
The Ben races are for under 16 ski club members who are off a standard that they are able to ski down from the top off the main slope. Each Ben will be made up of Race Trainees and ordinary members of all different standards so will make for some really exciting racing giving everyone a chance to get involved in ski racing in fun way. Each Ben will have a Peak and Assistant Peak and these will be picked from Race Section and Teams trainees and they will be in charge of organising your team before and during the race and keeping them in the correct running order. The Assistant Peaks and Peaks will also have individual knockout races after the team races and will be awarded points towards your Ben and all points from all three nights will be accumulated from the Team races and Assistant/Peak races to find out who will be the winning Ben come night 3.
The Director of Snowsports will be responsible for making up the teams so you will be contacted beforehand and told on the night what Ben you will be in.
Practice on all 3 nights is from 6.00pm with racing commencing at 7.00pm each Ben consists of 6 team members with a Peak and Assistant Peak.
