Freestyle Section
Hi folks,
as the Freestyle section goes from strength to strength, Bearsden Ski Club are keen to encourage participation in some of the many competitions that run during the season.
The grand finale to the season is to be run by Snowsport Scotland at Cairngorm on Saturday 31st March (subject to snow conditions!) and it would be good to see as many Bearsden members as possible taking part. If you are unsure about competing, feel free to ask Neil, or one of your coaches about what's involved.
It should be a fun day out and, to help with transport, we're planning to run a coach from Bearsden (with a possible pick up at Perth if required for those living in Edinburgh). The coach would be FREE for members of the Competition and Development teams and parents could travel (if numbers allow) for a nominal £5. The competition entry fee is £15 if you pre-register online and riders will need to buy a lift pass. A refundable £10 bib deposit is also required on the day. Priority will be given to those riders who train at Bearsden on Wednesday nights and their parents. If there is sufficient space, we will cater for Bearsden members who are not in the Freestyle Section - cost to be determined.
In order to gauge demand for the trip, can you let me know if you would be interested in taking part? If you could let me know by Sunday 12th Feb that would allow us to make the necessary arrangements.
