Event Details

Ski Bearsden 12 Hour Challenge - A 12 hour ski challenge has been organised by the parent committee and ski club to raise funds for Snowcamp youth charity and the Bearsden Race section.

• This will take place on Sat 10th Sept from 9am-9pm, and is open to race team and race development members at present.
• Teams of 12-14 racers will take part in the downhill challenge for continuous skiing on the slope for the 12 hours.
• There will be 4 teams skiing in a relay, with each team on the slope for 45 minutes at a time.
• Teams will be of mixed abilities, and there will be prizes for the team that completes the most runs at the end of the challenge.
• A £5 entry fee is needed to secure a place, with a sponsor form for each racer to raise additional funds.

As well as raising funds this will be a great social event for the race team. We will need parents to sign up to a rota if their child is taking part, just one hour of your time is all that is needed to ensure the event can run. Please return Entry Form and payment to Club office. Cheques should made payable to Bearsden Ski Club.
