From 11am to 5pm this Sunday head along to Bearsden Ski Club and see what’s on offer. There’s loads going on from Taster Sessions on the Main Slope, Tubing for kids, and great membership offers. You can also look around the building where we’ve recently held our Curry Night, Beach BBQ and Charity 12hr Ski Event.

So come along and check it out, we’re offering 45-minute taster sessions on the hour every hour, so that you can try out skiing or snowboarding for the first time! Don’t worry about equipment, that’s all included, just come along with a pair of gloves and give it a go!

If you’ve heard others rave about the tubing parties, then this is your chance to see what all the fuss is about. During the day kids will be allowed onto the slope to try out tubing, which takes place on one of Britain’s top Freestyle Slopes!

On the day, you’ll also be able to have a look around the building and check out the facilities. The club boasts a chalet style bar and café, making you feel like you’re in the Alps. Additionally, there is also a function suite that can be hired and is even free for members!

Bearsden Ski and Board Club really is a great place to be. Just last week there were two separate visits from Olympians. World class freestyler James ‘Woodsy’ Woods came with his entourage to showcase his stunts and inspire the kids to challenge themselves and up their freestyle game. While on the racing side we had the home grown talent of World Cup Skier Dougie Crawford and his four-time Olympian wife Chemmy Alcott make a guest appearance at race training where the kids were able to ask anything and everything about these skiing legends.

Whether you or your child has the Olympic fever after watching Rio, or maybe just loves the social aspect of sport, Bearsden Ski Club is the place to be. Come along on Sunday 9^th from 12pm to 4pm and enjoy the Open Day and explore what the club has to offer.
